Smooth Aura ("Smooth Aura," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website smooth-aura.com and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.
By using Smooth Aura, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Smooth Aura is a sports betting analytics platform that provides statistical models, odds comparisons, and related insights for informational and entertainment purposes. Smooth Aura is not a bookmaker, sportsbook, or gambling operator, and does not accept wagers.
The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older (21+ in jurisdictions where required). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the applicable minimum age.
We may receive data from odds providers, sports data feeds, and analytics or infrastructure partners (e.g., hosting and rate-limiting services) that we use to operate the Service. This does not typically include personal information about you.
We use collected information to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including processing uploaded bet slip images through our vision/analysis tools to extract and display relevant information back to you. Enforce usage limits (such as per-session upload rate limiting) to prevent abuse. Improve, personalize, and develop new features. Communicate with you, including responding to support requests and sending service-related notices. Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activity to improve the Service. Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse. Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
When you upload a bet slip screenshot, the image is processed (including via automated/AI vision analysis) to extract betting-related data for display within the Service. Please avoid uploading images that contain sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary (e.g., financial account numbers, full payment card details) since we cannot control what appears within a screenshot you provide. We retain uploaded images only as long as necessary to provide the feature and for the retention period described in Section 7, unless you request earlier deletion.
We may share information with:
Service providers: hosting providers, cloud infrastructure, analytics providers, and AI/vision processing providers who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations. Legal and safety purposes: if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Smooth Aura, our users, or others. Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not share your bet slip images or account data with sportsbooks, bookmakers, or advertisers for their independent marketing use.
Smooth Aura provides statistical analysis and information tools only. We do not facilitate wagering. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, resources are available, including the National Council on Problem Gambling (1-800-522-4700, ncpgambling.org).
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Uploaded bet slip images are retained only as long as needed for processing and any short-term caching, unless you request deletion sooner.
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as session identifiers) to:
Maintain your session and enforce upload rate limits. Understand how the Service is used (analytics). Improve performance and reliability.
You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit certain features (such as session-based upload limits functioning correctly).
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access, correct, or delete your personal information. Object to or restrict certain processing. Request a copy of your data in a portable format. Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Opt out of certain data sales or sharing (no personal information is currently sold).
To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 13. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (e.g., 30 days for many jurisdictions, 45 days under CCPA).
California residents: You have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale/sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
EEA/UK residents: If applicable, our processing relies on legal bases including consent, contract performance, and legitimate interests. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 (or 21 where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
